Jingle Bell Run

Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce that it will be the title sponsor for the Dallas Jingle Bell Run from 2014 thru 2016.

Proceeds from the Jingle Bell Run benefit the Trinity Strand Trail and the Mavs Foundation. The event this year will be held on Sunday, December 21, at the Hilton Anatole

There will be a one-mile fun run/walk beginning at 6pm and a 5K race beginning at 6:30pm. There will be a party afterward with food, drinks and entertainment.

New in 2014, the post-race party will be combined with the Anatole Sparkle event. Set underneath a tapestry of twinkling lights and fantastic decorations, Sparkle Christmas at the Anatole offers the ultimate family-friendly entertainment at the most wonderful time of the year.

Attractions include Santa's Workshop, Storytelling by Rudolph, spectacular light shows and live musical entertainment. Kids will love action-packed attractions including a Bounce House, Santa Slide, Velcro Wall, and ice skating rink.

"Generational Equity is pleased to be the title sponsor of this fantastic Holiday event," stated Ryan Binkley, President of Generational Equity.

"We look forward to helping both the Trinity Strand Trail and the Mavs Foundation reach their financial goals via this event. Not only is this event helpful to the charities, it provides a tremendous opportunity to create some wonderful lasting family memories for all who attend."

About The Trinity Strand Trail

In 2002, a group of dedicated individuals formed the Friends of the Trinity Strand Trail to spearhead the planning, construction and enhancement of a 7.8-mile non-motorized hike and bike trail along the original Trinity River watercourse, adjacent to downtown Dallas.

The Trinity Strand Trail will improve air quality, provide recreational opportunities and promote ecotourism for our citizens and visitors to the city. Connecting area hotels, DART, medical facilities, businesses, and residential dwellings, the trail will attract new development to the Riverfront neighborhood.

The Strand will extend the city's trail system and enhance the range and benefits of the Katy Trail and Trinity River Project recreational facilities.

About the Mavs Foundation

The Dallas Mavericks Foundation is dedicated to using our unique platform to build a stronger community by empowering youth, women and families who need us most through financial support, advocacy and service.

The Dallas Mavericks possess a strong sense of social responsibility, acknowledging that a community is only as strong as its weakest link.

Established in October 1996, the Mavs Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private charity, and although it is affiliated with the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team, it is incorporated as a separate business entity.

Because of the high-profile nature of the sport of basketball and its athletes, the Mavs Foundation has the opportunity to assist local projects and programs to increase the impact and availability of community resources.

The Mavs Foundation supports the programs and organizations in the Metroplex which address the community's most pressing problems involving women, children and families in need.
